Ann Fritschner, ACFRE
Ann Fritschner, ACFREis a consultant and coach for non-profit organizations that want to reach new donors, volunteers and supporters while engaging current ones in new and meaningful ways. Ann specializes in helping organizations plan, communicate and promote their activities, resulting in the organization achieving its multi-lateral goals.
Ann has created an easy to understand and easy to follow system that will help smaller, one-person not-for-profits focus on the essentials of fund raising and the proven principals that make philanthropy a shared and exciting experience for donors and receivers. This comprehensive program called Raising Funds EffectivelyTM brings volunteers, Board members and staff members back to the basics of the loving, exciting and fun process of making the world a better place, making a difference, and "giving back". By unlocking the joys of giving and receiving, the RFE System can work in any setting and for any type and size of non-profit organization.
In addition, Ann teaches for the Duke University Center for Non-Profit Management and in 2002 she was a contributing editor to two books published by Barnes and Noble, I Think I Want to Volunteer: Now What?! and I Think I Want to Write a Grant: Now What?!
As Past President of the Western North Carolina chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (WNCAFP) Ann ascribes to a high standard of ethical principals and does not take a percentage of money raised; she teaches, coaches and supports volunteers and staff to work together to raise contributions so they benefit from learning and experiencing the philanthropic exchange. Ann is one of only 75 Advanced Certified Fundraising Executives in the country, and has been certified since 1986.
In November 2002, Ann was ordained as a Deacon in the Episcopal Church, serving the Bishop of the Diocese of Western North Carolina. Currently she is assigned to The Church of the Advocate which serves primarily homeless and street people. She is a member of the North American Association of Deacons.
